About the Opportunity
Due to an internal move, Samuel Smith & Son has an exciting opportunity for an On-Premise Area Manager (Sydney CBD & Eastern Suburbs) to join their team in Alexandria, Sydney.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the continued growth of the business through the development, implementation and management of your sales strategy as well as the achievement of sales, distribution and financial budget targets.
This is not a retail sales role and you will be managing lucrative accounts including restaurants, international hotels as well as the occasional pub based within your territory, Sydney City, and East. As such, you will need a strong knowledge of the food and wine and hospitality industry.
Previous experience and success in an on-premise sales role within the wine or hospitality industry are preferred, however, your ability to build strong relationships at the trade level as well as your ability to develop a strong sales call cycle and sales plan for your accounts will see you succeed in this rare and exciting opportunity.
Samuel Smith & Son is looking for a team player who displays an enthusiastic attitude towards the Samuel Smith & Son brand as well as their stable of blue-chip wine brands.
Intermediate computer literacy is highly desirable as is the experience with, or the ability to quickly learn how to use, CRM software, Salesforce in particular.
Please note: Candidates need to hold a current unencumbered driver's licence and NSW RSA.
